A hero isn't made
You can't train to be one
There is no hero factory
A hero is a small miracle that is born
From the start, they never give up
They aren't mean or brute or sadistic
A hero is loving
There are no muscles involved in that
All heroes have a steel hard core of determination
To fight it out to the bitter end,
Even if it brings pain
A hero admits they are scared
When everyone has abandoned hope, they push on
Refusing to give in, give up
A real hero fights the hardest battle, the one inside them
They bring the world its feet with their incredible words
They inspire people with their amazing story
A hero doesn't back out when the going gets tough
They embrace it with welcome arms
A challenging smile on their face
As they beat the living hell out of it
A hero never stops fighting
Even when they aren't aware they are doing it
Tragic as it is
All heroes die young
But do they let this stop them
No
Because a real hero never gives up
Even when they know what is going to happen one way or another
They take a deep breath
Raise an eyebrow and give fate a cocky grin
They scream at the top of their lungs
"IS THAT THE BEST YOU GOT?"
